Join us at the Esquimalt Rec Centre for the second installment in our Spring Workshop Series: Flower Pounding! Grab a mallet and make colourful, whimsical floral imprints on paper and linen, which can be intricately arranged or beautifully chaotic, whichever suits your fancy! Experience the beauty of natural dyes through this fun and simple family-friendly craft.

This is an all-ages craft activity, however young children should have adult supervision for the use of hammers / mallets.

We will have flowers galore and some mallets available, but participants are encouraged to bring their own smashing implements if possible, to ensure there are enough to go around. You are also welcome to bring flowers from your own garden or neighborhood.

Due to the use of flowers, this workshop may not not suitable to those with pollen allergies.
